Creativity

Creative supplies for children — modeling clay and playdough, molds and rollers, art supplies, coloring pages, and crafts. Creative activities build hand dexterity and patience, and the result can later be put up on the wall. Handling a pencil and modeling clay trains the same muscles needed for writing later on, and the child also learns that things don't always work out on the first try. A two-year-old is fine with thick crayons and soft dough, while from the fourth year, molds, rollers, and more precise coloring within the lines come into play. Keep modeling clay in a closed container so it doesn't dry out.
