Potty Training Pants
Potty training pants are something between a diaper and regular underwear. The pants have an absorbent core that catches a minor accident, but the child feels the wetness — and that feeling is exactly what speeds up potty training. Today's diapers are so absorbent that the child never feels wet, so no association forms. Most children are ready for potty training between 18 and 30 months of age. Signs include a dry diaper after a nap, interest in the potty, and the ability to say the diaper is wet. Plan on at least six to eight pairs to start with, since they'll need changing several times a day in the first weeks.
